My experience was one of a kind. You're located in the middle of the beautiful cloud forest and there are so many routes to explore with amazing nature and animals of the jungle. The guys who run it are truly incredible and work so hard yet if ever you need something they are always there to help you. Altogether the people, the animals, the friends and forest create a magical experience... I only hope to return some day in the future. Thank you all so much :)))))

Staying at the rescue center for 2 weeks was a really great experience!😄 You really have to love animals to volunteer at this place, it's a lot of hard work. All in all, we had a really good time together with the cute dogs☺️The food is really good (vegan) and the staff is friendly and helpful. The right place to go if your heart beats for animals!

We had a great time at the rescuecenter! We spent a lot of time with the dogs and the owners and all the amazing workers take really good care of their animals. The work is split over the whole day with breaks where you get very good freshly cooked food and can enjoy the beautiful nature by which the shelter is surrounded. Work mainly consists of walking the dogs but you also have a few other options where you could help at like the chickens, horses, kitchen, office or painting. In general it is quite easy work but you are active all day so at the end of the day we were very excited to go to our rooms 🙂 What we liked a lot is that we were a big group of volunteers with whom we had a wonderful time! We would definitely recommend to volunteer here for anybody who likes spending a lot of time with animals!

For anyone considering this, please know, you will work hard and long hours, but the payoff is amazing and so rewarding in my opinion. From the amazing animals, to the kind people working here, to the other volunteers, and the beautiful surrounding nature and delicious food you will have, this is a place I will remember forever. Thank you again!

Meir and all the other family and friends are extremely generous and so totally committed to their project that it was very hard to leave. All volunteers are well taken care of and the food is incredibly delisious. The lodge’s surrounding nature is breathtaking and wowed me every single day.Thanks to all the amazing hard working crew for making this one of my best work away experience in Costa Rica. I will be back one day !!
